Commission Work- a Collaboration between You and Me!

I truly enjoy working with my clients to create a piece of work that is not only personal but unique to them. Subjects like children, pets, homes and dreams have all been translated from the client through me to the canvas. The outcome is something so unique that the piece of artwork becomes a family heirloom.

A unique type of painting that I enjoy doing is what I call biography paintings. In these works I actually interview the client and start creating an image that reflects the life of the client. These paintings end up being a fantastical landscape of a person's life. They show where they have been, where they are headed and where their heart lies. These are very timec onsuming, yet they are the most wonderful of paintings. Truly a treasure to have and behold.

But whenever I do a commission, it is a collaborative work. It makes me stretch and connect with someone new. It is a connection that is unique and wonderful with a new person and a new piece of work. I hope that you will embark with me on this colorful of adventure!
